Black and White

If all was black and white

It would be so easy

To see which way my grey went

Towards darkness or light?

But the dark dark reservoirs of energies

Imploding from the innermost me

These subtle and turbulent waves

From the shadowed recesses where they gestate

And in the darkness of my psychological soul

Where they cogitate...

How are they not light?

And the visible light that I breed

How is it not an evil creed?

It’s time to give black its due

And to take from white its saintly hue
